What I have experienced with GLS Hallerndorf in the last few months is a disaster. The mail contact was always friendly, which is of no use if the disaster continues unchanged. I don't want to describe an isolated case here. There were too many experiences for that. My experiences and the rating relate exclusively to me as a package recipient.

Deliveries have been arriving days late for some time now. GLS promises deliveries within 48 hours on weekdays. For two days, the package should be "delivered today" and arrived at the depot in the evening. After calling the head office today, I could only be told that if he intervenes now, the delivery will be further delayed due to the clarification status. With complaints one proceeds differently! Apparently the depot in Hallerndorf has a logistics or personnel problem.

I would have received a package on 7/25/22, the package status told me. When I got home, nothing was there, not even at the neighbor's. I contacted the seller, they asked GLS. Unfortunately, they didn't come to any conclusions even after a week. It's funny, it has to be scanned. The day before yesterday people came and brought my package and it was parked 5 km away from me. What shoud that ? I also don't understand why trucks drive through the village again and again, even though a ban has been issued. When will you finally get the hang of using the bypass?

Why only one star? Because less is not possible! Why is it not delivered with bells (desired neighbor not available as an option)? Parcel at storage location? I'm definitely not going to do that, it's too unsafe because then you're no longer insured. Picking up by public transport without a car? Brilliant! I work until 5 p.m.… you are closed until I get there. GLS is a deliverer, so deliver!
