They're trying to make me pay import duties for an item I never ordered and never received, using a customer number that I don't recognize since I'm not a customer of TNT. I sent an email to the correct address for solving these issues but never received a response. Now I received a letter from a debt collection agency.

Our consignment comes from England, we were written to after 2 days and wanted our customs authorization, we sent it within 10 minutes. After I then asked after another 2 days when my shipment would come, no response, not even to reminders, so it went about 7 days then a reminder came about the customs authority, I of course sent it again and of course promptly. I then turned to FedEx, it's the same association for almost 2 years, they at least tried to help me here, but without success. Then on day 16, another colleague asks me again for the customs authorization. I sent it again and I really hoped that something would move, unfortunately not. When I asked if I could continue, my colleague informed me that he had passed it on to the relevant department. And the telephone hotline is also a disaster. Partially unavailable or you wait, wait, wait and then at some point desperately have to hang up again. It's really unbelievable that customers give shipments to TNT/FedEx anymore. Such an underground performance for that you would have to award negative points. Unfortunately, I still don't have my shipment.
