The forwarding company Rhenus surprised me very positively from the first moment, because who doesn't know them: The incredibly bad, unfriendly, unpunctual, unreliable forwarding companies? Rhenus has done a good job with online appointments, a very friendly and hard-working lady on the phone who agreed on my preferred appointment (!) With me. The time window of 6 hours would be limited to two hours on the day before delivery - so don't wait half a day. Two days before the delivery, the friendly question (!) Whether it would be feasible for me to move the time window an hour forward came by email two days before the delivery. The two-hour time window was perfectly adhered to, how many stations are still to be completed before me can be seen online. The driver called shortly before delivery and announced himself. The two employees were very friendly and carried my sofa to the second floor and placed it in the desired location. For me, a shipping company with an absolute full screen function!

Rhenus has specified a time slot between 9:20 and 11:20 a.m. for my delivery. Delivery truck arrived at 2:30 p.m. sharp! There was no response to my previous request to adjust the delivery period, although I said that I do not live at the address, that the apartment there is currently empty and that I will drive an extra 50 km to receive this delivery. Nevertheless, I was there on time and had to wait for the gentlemen in the empty apartment for more than 5 hours! Telephone contact to the service in these 5 hours brought only excuses. Complaints to the suppliers (3 men in the van) were in vain because they hardly understood a word of German. I had to hear the following: I have no idea, company, we nothing..

The freight forwarder places orders with other freight forwarders with whom you only have trouble. In this case, the forwarding agency Haneder Nuremberg. A time window was specified. Two people took vacation to be present. Later it turned out that the drivers were even at the wrong address 1 hour before the time window. So of course you can not accept the delivery. Vacation day wasted for two people. In addition, the table top was damaged for the second time, since the drivers are very careless with the furniture. Really bad!!!

Only bad! We received a delivery on 26.04.2019 from Maisons du Monde with the following procedure: According to your mail dated 25.4.2019 with the subject time limit the delivery should run between 15:50 to 17:50. One should be notified one hour before the scheduled arrival. At 17:45 I called there, if there is anyone else coming. My call was succinctly "yes, the driver is on the go" dismissed. At 18:45 I was called, at 18:55 the shipping company was there. (That's not an hour before!) First, two small parcels were brought up. Then directly the first shock "package too big, does not fit in"! When I pointed out that I was going to unpack it, I got the answer that they could not do it. After explaining that this is part of my ordered service and some discussions between the 3 people, it was unpacked. When then 3 packages were in my apartment it was said I should please sign it. On my hint that this is not even half of the delivery, the confusion was great. Now, after many discussions and pickup trucks, the gentlemen had found that they had wrongly invited and first had to change their vehicle to get to the rest of our delivery. At 8:05 pm the awkward, unfriendly gentlemen were finally finished. At 19:00 o'clock I would have had an important appointment, which I could postpone until 20:00 and then change only for a fee. Whenever something is to come with this freight forwarding, I will shop elsewhere in the future.
