From the Oberkassel sports field it is a leisurely walk of just over an hour, by bike 15 to 20 minutes depending on your ability and strength and steadily uphill. The view from the platform to the west and south is terrific when the weather is clear. I was there on the afternoon of October 14, 2018 in the most beautiful autumn weather and a temperature like in summer (25 degrees)
