You definitely want to check out this fixed-rope trail above Loreley offering amazing views on both the Rhein and Loreley Rocks. It’s a great experience with stunning views. Local chapters did a great job in getting this fixed-rope trail done - nevertheless if you’re afraid of heights: skip it.

As part (detour) of the Rheinsteig, or as a circular route, a great via ferrata. Duration depending on condition and photo breaks a good 2-3 hours. Even if other shorter times are given, you should take the time to enjoy the beautiful views of the Rhine Valley. The climb is well secured, there are ladders and iron steps. But sure-footedness is required. Accessible for young and old.

nice via ferrata! Duration: 30 minutes is quite short compared to the via ferrata in Boppard. Definitely worth it for the view! Beautiful see photos!

Ganz nett für Neulinge beim KS klettern, zu wenig für Erfahrene. Zum Wandern und Natur genießen ein sehr schöner Ort.

We actually did not need our via ferrata set and we also encountered hikers without this set. Be careful, because the loose sand and stones make it slippery. View was beautiful! We had parked the car above the jetty for free, but walking from below is also possible.
